Im in the process of buying some ARH and a Vararam intake for my '07 denali.. the problem with the cam is that I'm worried no one would be able to install it properly over here in kuwait...

would buying lets say an LS3 timing gear with valve cover work? I don't mind the loss of a little lower end power as I don't really tow anything, just looking for a nice street/strip suv to burn around town...

You just need a timing cover, cam gear, bolts, and three bolt cam to disable.
Then just tune out the VVT codes. I did it on my truck and it has been fine.

Same theory applies, just don't need to pull heads to do the lifters, but you do need the LS2/LS7 type timing chain cover. Yes, tune out the VVT function.
