Default Cam Help

I have a new body 2007 5.3 with a 373 gear and k&n cold air kit and cat back exhaust. so i was wondering what cam i could go with that would help me gain horse power. i have heard a Z06 cam would work and other cams from comp cams. my head casting says 243 on it. so if anyone knows about cams i would be great full for the help. and i need to get a tune to turn of the active fuel mang system off as well. I'm looking for a little bit of lope but good gains. this is one im thinking about going with from comp cams Grind Number: LS1 XR265HR-14

Comp cam 212/218 . .58X lift . 112-114 LSA. .. would pull great low End. . .
220/220 ,58X on 112LSA = great cam . . it all depends where u want ur power at*
our NNBS have a 1 bolt Cam ,which means u are limited on cam choices . Comp cam has 1 bolt CAm's . .or u cam choose any 3 bolt cam, and just a 3 bolt sprocket ( ls7 sprocket) which is what most of the NNBS owners are doing. . . dont forget 918 springs + hardened Rods.. if u plan 2 shift above 6200 RPM"s .. Ur 243/799 heads.. are Great LS6 flowing heads. . . . . . .keep us posted on how ur cam swap goes. .

220* . .depends on the tune.. I've seen applications.. that are pulling hard all the way into 6800 .. and the sprocket you can get it at ur local Gm dealer, they run about $30 .

You'll need wayyyyy more than just a cam, spocket and springs if you have AFM/DOD.
