Okay that is a great cam for a stock stall in a 5.3. You are going to run into some smallish issues though. You have an 08 yes? Then you have a single bolt cam. The one in your link is 3bolt. It can be modified to work, however, it is much simpler to just get a single bolt cam. If you get a cam with those exact specs then you can use your stock springs and only need to swap to hardened pushrods. If you swap to a stock stall from a straight 6 trailblazer(4.2L) then you will have a near perfect setup matched to that cam. I hope you have deleted any VVT or DOD crap you may have from the factory. Who is doing your tuning?

Why buy a 3bolt cam when a single bolt is readily availible? As for his truck the guess I made was based on his 3 previous threads all talking about his 08 5.3 4speed truck.

3 bolt cams are available anywhere.
Not very many single bolt cams are on the shelf waiting to ship.
3 bolt cam has higher resale value
Single bolt cam has a torque to yield bolt
Single cam bolt requires a degree angle gauge to tighten correctly
3 bolt cam has lots of aftermarket options for HP timing sets, billet, double roller...
