Default Can you trade in a cammed truck

Not sure where to post this but would a chevy dealer take my 08 nnbs in on trade with out much hassle, cammed, stall, gears and no cats. See something up there I really want.

They may, depends on the dealer. They won't give you as much since they can't sell it on the lot though.

You should post up what they offer you and see if someone who will appreciate the truck more might buy it here for what they offer you.

Your not going to get anything close to normal trade in with those mods. Best to sell it privately, or return it back to stock, trade it that way.

No way youll get 10k with those mods. I was going to trade my 2004 600rwhp duramax in. Mint conditon 96k miles. Blue booked at 25k stock. They said the best trade in value they could do was 13k.

I agree you wont get close to stock. People don't appreciate home-built horsepower.

What are you looking to buy?

i traded mine in with everything on it. 2wd is what killed the trade in value

That's always been a pain in my ***. Get a rig running great, drive it for a while, and then you have to find the one person in the whole country who wants one exactly that way to get reasonable money out of it. Mostly you have to just give up and take what you can get - figure the money went to the fun you had with it.

Advertising on a board like this might give you a better chance of finding "that guy" than craigslist. Good luck!

I'm wanting a '10 camaro ss. But anyways what do you guys think my truck is worth right now, it's great in great shape with 67k miles, power everything

Wonder if I just toss in the stock converter and cam if that's bringing it enough back to stock
