I agree why would you buy a truck with 4x4 and not use the 4x4? Dealers have both 4x2 and 4x4 in stock and if you are willing to wait you could order one.

1) Install NNBS 2wd spindles and hubs.

2) Remove front differential / CV shafts

3) Remove Transfer Case and front/rear driveshaft.

4) Install 2wd transmission tailshaft or 2wd transmission.

5) Install 2wd rear driveshaft.

6) Relocate transmission crossmember.

7) Remove 4wd selector switch, install new dash panel cover. Pull 4wd fuses.

8) Reflash PCM/TCM and body computer for loss of 4wd sensors.

That should be very expensive.

Once you get some Horsepower in that rig you'll want that 4x4 button again for your launches.
Unless you plan to do a lot of suspension work

Oppppppps....
Didnt think it is that complecated, I whish I could order the truck that I want, the dealers in my country are *********** , they don't accept orders, you only can buy what they are welling to import from the US, what ever option they decied to offer, you are stricted to it.
I wish I could buy Sierra 1500 with 6.0 , 6 speed 2WD, but no, it is more than a dreem her in Gulf countries.

Thanks evry one for putting my back to reality.

Just build the truck with more power to utilize the 4wd option.

My rig runs 14's in 2wd,and 12's easy in 4wd.

At the track with Drag radials, or slicks a properly 2WD will allways be faster. On normal street tires, or on the street 4x4, or awd has the advantage.
