Cannot get truck to move

Default Cannot get truck to move

Just finished putting a Yank 3600 in the truck ..we dropped it and put it.on reverse and truck doesn't move. Poured total of 4quarts of transmission fluid ..have the rear in the air. We put.it.in.REVERSE NEUTRAL AND DRIVE and the wheels spin forward . Any one knows why truck does not move? THANKS.!

Did you give it some throttle? Also is the fluid full?

Friends are saying the converter should click twice when we first put it into the transmission ..we are going to release the converter from.the three bolts and try to spin it till we hear it click

I think it is supposed to click 3 times. Hopefully you did not break the Pump

Which pump? What are the symptoms of breaking the pump?

The symptoms youre describing is a broken pump. You didnt seat the converter all the way and cracked teh pump when you bolted the trans to the motor.

Would the pump be leaking? There's no leaks at all

You need to measure the distance from the converter bolt hubs to the face of the bellhousing. The number of "clicks" isn't reliable with an aftermarket converter imo.
