Only one im familiar with is Circle D Specialties. I have their Trailblazer restalled 3000 converter on my 08 5.3L. It works great! and it stalls straight up to 3000.

I did have to upgrade my trans cooler because I was seeng upwards of 200+ degree trans temp. I got an oregon performance 40K GVWR trans cooler. On hot summer days it stays under 160. Floor it, it'll rise to 180 but will drop quickly.

Dropped 2mpg in the city, highway MPG remained the same.

Circle D Specialties. If you check the Drivetrain Section there is a Huge thread on their base model converters.

Circle D does BOTH! Chris deals with the converters, someome else deals with the tranny builds.

i have a Circle D 3000-3200 in my CC and my WT with the full bolt on 5.3 swap. its worth the 375.00 for a brand new converter.

my truck runs 14.4 @ 94.89mph stock 5.3/60e other than the servos.
its got 3200Circle D/LTs/ORy/90mm TB/4"CAI/Truckshop Tune

actually "different" companies but both owned by the same family. chris owns cds and i think its his parents who owns the CDT. 2 buildings parked next to each other. one only deals with transmissions, and the other only deals with converters. Both have an awesome reputation.
