Default converter 2008 1500?

2008 chevy 1500 with a 5.3. i just installed the comp 212/218 115lsa cam. i was wondering what would be a good converter for it. this truck is my daily driver so i dont want to sacrifice too much fuel mileage and i still tow a 6x10 trailer on the weekends with motorcycles. the only other mods that are done to the the truck are shorty headers, s&b intake and cat back exhaust. i heard about a trail blazer converter that u can swap into it but not sure which one? im open to all opinions thanks.

trailblazer I6 converter is what everyone uses but for the labor involved in swapping it IMHO it isnt worth it.

yank TT3000
Circle d 3000 (278mm)

i tow with my 2800 with no issues, and in my cc when i still had my circle d 3200 i towed my other truck with no issues with it

I would go with the circle D 3200 and be done. Once the converter locks up it will drive like stock. Whatever converter you go with I would install a Tru-cool 40k trans cooler if you don't already have one to keep the heat down. Look in the sticky for installing.

X3 circle D 3200 drives like stock 278mm. i have that with my setup and its been working fine. daily driveability is awesome and gets on it when need be. im even thinking about going to a billet 3600 when i go turbo
