I doubt that would have the 6 speed unless it was a Denali.

Mine has been great also, only in the shop once as well. The purge valve for the evap canister stuck open or something like that, throwing a check engine light. I had a problem with my tire presure sensors, but only because the chrome caps that came on my valve stems corroded to the pressure sensor, and during the winter in my brothers shop we went to check the tire pressure and on 3 of the 4 sensors it yanked some small stem out with the valve stem cap. Dealership gave me 4 brand new sensors but I have yet to put them in.

50,000 miles now, still loving it. I have to admit though I've considered trading in for a 2010 RCSB 5.3 6 speed.

Good to hear.. I am looking at Crew Cabs only but I really want a 6 Speed so it looks like ill be sticking to the 09+'s..

Yeah, unless that 08 is a Denali, it won't have a 6-speed or shouldn't.

They are great trucks, I really want to get a 2010 ECSB 4x4 5.3/6.2--6-speed.

No problems on my 07, and to me feels more solid than my dad's 09. I also like the typeface of the 07 cluster vs the 09-10s, but that's small...6 speed is very desirable tho, often wish mine had one after getting out of my dad's.

Might be an isolated case here, but Ive got an 07 and had to have my trans rebuilt at 15k,under warranty of course. The dealer I bought it from turned me away at the time because they said the had three in there all ready. The trans wouldnt shift out of second.

^Definitely not an isolated case, plenty of ppl have found out the hard way the 4L60Es are weak as ****. Something to definitely consider if you're shopping for a truck.
