I think the 6.2 kinda changes things tho? that cam in a 4.8 would be a different animal.

4.8??? He has a 5.3 i thought.

Im not telling him run my cam, just dont be scared of a .595 lift on a DD.

Yeah it's a 5.3 4spd, I think my engine code is ly5?? All aluminum with 243 heads

That is rare. I looked at a lot of 5.3s back when I had my '09 and never found one with an aluminum block.

I wanna say the LY5 is a Iron block.
The L33 is the Alum 5.3, unless they made a special run of LY5 alums??
