Ddm hids?
E-Bay HID's I wanted to try them to see if I liked them 30.00 set guess I didn't have much to loose.
I went with xenteq kits Headlamps have a steady flicker you can see if you are sitting still with lights pointed at a wall. This started after a few thousand miles with them. On my fogs one ballast is shorted and blows the fog fuse.
DDM kits seem to be the flavor of choice around here. Do they friggin flicker. How long have some of you had them without problems. Damm I love the lighting output after going to HID's but if I cant get them as reliable as the stock bulbs I'm going back to stock halogens. I'll be dammed if I'm paying a ticket for a HID that decides to **** itself while I'm on the road. ALL of my driving is at night as well.

DDM Hids are for real.
I was skeptical too but after seeing how many people here bought them i decided to try them. They work and look great, no flickering. Would def buy another set . I have the lows and fogs.

I've been running DDM for over two years now, never a flicker, never a bad bulb. Love em. Get em while you can because I could've sworn I read somewhere that DDM is liquidating all their inventory and going with LEDs.

I have had DDM slim ballast kits on my highs, lows, and fogs for over a year.
No problems.
They are here in Huntington Beach, so i have not problems getting in contact with them if there were to be an issue.
If my story is correct, the owner of DDM used to design the HIDs for a lot of european car companies in the 90's.
He married a lady whose family has manufacturing plants in asian countries.
Now he took that technology and started his own company.
quality HID kits at an extreme bargain.

DDM it is then thanks peeps. Does anyone running HID's as their highs here have any complaints about them. I mean when you flip to high can you get enough light quick enough to see an object better within a few seconds.

I wouldn't do the highs. Firstly and most importantly, they are not meant to be flipped on and off, like if you have to flash someone or if there is oncoming traffic, secondly, they take a few seconds to warm up, so you have to predict when you will need them because they aren't 'instant on.' You will find you likely will not need brights all too often after the HID's in your driving lights, they throw off enough light for most country roads or ranches.

I have my High's done, its not necessary and you cant flash them,
but I do a lot of driving down dark desert roads. I like all the light I can get. There is never enough until its like daylight.
