Oh yeah, What size tire u have? It's really not the tire that determines fuel mileage, but the size of the rim. More mass to move. But On stocks I'm at like 23-2400rpms at 80, and 21-2200 at 75-70mph. Pretty good

Ur right at 32" overall diameter. I got my converter from circledspecialties.com, hit the ask chris button, and put ur mods, future mods and use of truck and he'll reply very quickly. Most likely ull get the same converter as me. Fo $400 u can't beat it. And service is second to mone

iamkeniff has swapped in a 6.2. Probably a good place to start asking questions
as far as mandatory changes, you won't have too many other than fuel supply, but you will want to upgrade your trans; that 4L60E won't last long behind anything over 6 liters unless you drive like granny

Gears will make the biggest difference. 3.73's have always been a decent mix for a stock truck.
My Blazer was awesome with 3.42's but it was a stick.
I've got the 3.73's in my ECSB 2WD Z71, and if I take it easy, I can get 15+ in city and 20+ highway... There's not a lot of flat roads here, so the engine is always working, lol.
