Default DIC switch

Anyone installed one of these? Is the harness there on all NNBS? It would be nice to see tire pressure, mileage, etc.

Yup, its easy. Pop the old cover off and install the new one. Harness should be already in the truck. Just plug it in and go.

Exactly...the harness will be plugged into a "dummy" port on the back of your current trim panel. The install takes about 10 minutes...the hardest part for me was getting the headlight switch unsnapped from the original panel. BTW, it is cheaper to buy the panel and the switch seperately than it is to buy the assembly. Here are the part #'s:

I'm guessing that this is only on the newer trucks

Ordered mine today, $59.65 shipped from GM parts direct for the individual parts. Thanks Lawman for the tip of buying the parts seperate. I guess the 'kit' must have some valuable instructions that pump up the price.

I paid almost $100 for the kit.....Wish I would have known. Youre going to like this mod though, its well worth it.

i can't believe GM can't add a $14 switch to all the models and just make this standard? instead we have to buy $60-$100 worth of a "kit" to get this.
