yes, I was happy, most time she is too scared to do stuff like this because she thinks she will get wrong thing. Maybe I need to start leaving little hints around the house like mp112 or Radix.

On back of panel, removing the headlight switch assembly just requires undoing these three latches, easier to unplug all cables. In the picture below, there are two latches on one side, and one on the other. The dummy plug for the dic is just above the headlamp switches. just unsnap and snap into new panel. Hope this is helpful to you

i think it would work with the stock panel. you would have to be really good with a dremel to make it look ok though.

huh?? i ordered mine from gmpartsdirect over a week and a half ago and never recieved it. when i emailed them i was informed that they have been on BACK-ORDER through gm and theres was NO date of when they would be in stock. to make this even better, i couldnt get a refund because they were "SPECIAL-ORDER" parts(some disclaimer)!! SO now i have no DIC and im out the $$$ until the parts come in.
