Well i dont see a cam swap in the near future anyway, but I dont know of any shops around my area that does custom tunes. So with that, are the canned tunes worth a ****?

Engine mods are not the problem with the 6.2L. However some mods will require you to lose the VVT aspect of it so just be cognizant of that.
Also...13's on that truck is not a problem at all. There's a member that broke into the 13's with a tune, LT's an CAI. They are very powerful trucks right out of the box.
And most all engine mods will work with the 6.2L.

I have a completely stock '08 AWD denali and it is sweet. My calculated average by the truck is 15.3 mpg.
I was reading in the forced induction section on here that a guy said he got 14.5 stock on his AWD Denali. I think a tune, headers, and intake would get you close to 13's.
