has anyone done this and has posted instructions on this install... i ordered it and no directions.. all i need to know what these four plastic trays are for and valley cover is for?

 

pull the heads, pull the lifters, an the 4 lifter trays. pull the cam, put new cam in. reinstall NEW LIFTERS AN TRAYS. put heads back on

 

oh an swap the valley cover bc the new cover blocks off the oil towers

 

Like above^^^^ Very simple... I am actually doing mine tonight. Waiting on parts tho I had the heads off in 2.5 hours. I am assuming Thunder Racing DOD delete kit? Easy job

 

Can't you do it with a tune??

 

you can "turn it off in the tune" you can not delete the DOD without pulling the heads to change the lifters, and if you change the lifters, you might as well do the cam too if not then you wasted money.

if you are not wanting to cam swap, but just want the DOD turned off the tune is the way to do it, same with VVT.
