I got my DOD delete stuff from GM direct
But I read on a G8 forum about getting a block off valve for the valley cover and some breather tube that goes on the valve cover I believe
all i need now is the CAM, springs and pushrods

there should be a DOD delete kit sticky!!! i looked all over the place when I was looking for my stuff. sticky would have been helpful

this is where i bought my LS7 lifters/Trays/LS2 wedge 182 basically. way cheaper than TR wants. i paid 106 or whatever for the LS7 valley cover from TR so that saves your 40.00 plus taxes.

Exactly, things don't typically break on their own. You could ask why GM puts driveshafts that aren't balanced to handle 100+MPH, well, most people won't have a need to go over that speed.
