Door Sill Protection?
I just picked up my brand new 2011 Sierra Crew a few days ago. One thing that really bothered me on my 2006 Sierra Crew was the scratches and worn paint on the door sills. People can not seem to remember to pick up their feet when getting in and out of the truck.
Does anyone have the GMC brushed stainless steel door sills? Pics? Do they sufficiently protect the sills.
What about the 3M clear strips.

I just installed the 3m clear bra on my door sills this last week. This truck is about 1.5" taller than my old SS and everyone seemed to be not picking up their feet...
Can't give you any feedback yet, but we'll see how it holds up. The installer did a great job, can't even tell its there.
