i tried installing belltech 2 inch drop shackles tonite. the stock top shackle bolt would not clear the frame. i tried jacking up on the shock but it touchd the bed before it would clear. i guess i have to cut into the seam of the bed or unless theres a trick to getting it out. any input would be helpful. its a 2012 rcsb thanks.

 

Loosen the 4 rear bed mounts about an inch and jack up the axle to push the bed up via the shackles.

Thats the best way!
You may also want to bend the seams over a little bit to clear the spring eyes so the wont rub and squeak.
BTW have you thought about a rear sway bar?

 

i removed the 4 rear bed bolts and loosened the front 4. no problems. thank you mdwatts11.
