All you want to know about drone and more. I hacked 18" off my tailpipe and it raised the drone-zone about 300 rpms. But you want to mount your muffler as far back on your exhaust system as possible.

The Borla does sound good. I had one on my truck for a couple of years and just wanted a little quieter sound. It was loud and raspy at wot but no drone. Then I bought a dynomax ultra-flo and it is all together quieter and once again no drone. IMO do an x- pipe and dual 3" dynomax ultra-flo mufflers. You'll be pleased and it has an awesome sound.

I seen the resonator idea and would love to try it but if it doesnt work I have cut my exhaust for nothing.
I knew they would be loud but holy crap super loud. I am however very happy with the sound at idle. Im a jackass and should have done some research. Very disapointed with my mufflers Im probly gonna change any suggestions welcome thanks I will try and figure out how to post pics tom.

I didn't read through the posts in the other thread to see if this was in there. Here is a calculator that tells how long the "T" pipe should be. I don't know from personal experience if it works or not, just know from hear say. Good luck

Like I said, never tried it myself but saved the data in case I ever needed it.

yes it will, at one time I had one at the end of each pipe and it had a nice deep tone but no drone.
