Default dropped spindles didnt drop my truck 2 inches? odd

I bought a 12 with 1500 miles, it had been lifted, I did not like it lifted so I removed the whole kit and put it stock. While it was apart I put belltech spindles/rear shackles/no rear block/pulled overload and strangely the front sits the same as a friends stock same truck. Any ideas guys? Yes im sure 100 percent of the lift is removed before thats a question and we both have 275 55 20s. It sits 36 flat floor to the well.

Thanks

Jeremy

Sure it doesnt have lift springs or spacers in it ? A pic of the front supension would help. Also check for spacers on the strut mounting points.

It had a pro comp lift and 35s. I removed the drop downs, lift spindles, strut spacers, sway drop down add a leaf blocks all of it. The struts and springs have gm tags on them. The truck went back together just fine it just doesn't look lowered. Its 35.5 in back 36 in front.

taking out the overloads may have lowered the rear the the point the front raised a little.
upset the front to rear balance

Mine is similer to yours and definitely looks and measures lower
