Default Dropping it some more!

Happy Late New Years Guys!

Well I decided I want to drop my truck some more. Right now I have the Ground Force drop kit that came with the Regency plus some drop shackles. Here's and old pic from a couple months ago.

Not sure if you can see it but the rears a little bit higher....Ill try and get better pictures tomorow plus some measurements.

Well I've been doing some research and I'm 99% percent sure that my truck came with this 2/4.5 Ground Force Kit plus I've added the 2" drop shackles.

Well I want an inch more drop in the front and about 2" in the back. I'm really considering something like the 3/6 Ground Force Drop Kit or a 4/7 drop. I leaning towards a 3/6 drop because I think I might regret doing the 4/7 but I think it'll probably look better with a 4/7.

Well my question is what can I do to drop my truck more. I was thinking maybe some McGaughys drop spindles plus a flip kit in the back.

Help me out guys. Thanks.

Well I should get a 4" drop in the front with the 2" drop spindles so I should be good in the front. So what flip kit or watever else should get me the 7" drop in the back?

What drop kit do you have 08Chevy?

I have a 4/7 drop kit. I bought all my parts seperate so it made it very cheap on me.
-The front-
2" ground force spindles
2" belltech struts

-The Rear-
Flip kit
Monroe air shocks
Helper Bags.

Do not get the air airs. way to soft. I would recommend Belltech street shocks. Kind of stiff but still give a good ride. My friend has some and I want to buy some soon.

My alignment is perfect without a camber kit but that is because of the gf spindles. If you go any other way, you will need a camber kit to get the aligment perfect.

Other than that, my truck rides pretty good because of the helper bags. But I live on pretty shitty roads. But if you're not scared to cut the frame, put a notch in that bitch. It will make the ride perfect.

Yeah thats why I wanted to go 3/6 just to be on the safe side and not scrape and hit everywhere......yup from Long Beach

What flip kit did you use 08Chevy?
Oww and I've been reading up on the drop spindles from Ground Force and I've seen negative things about them.....about how the design is bigger???, how you cant get it aligned, etc.....have you ever had problems with the spindles?

There not the best quality but the best my camera phone could do....

-Front-

-Rear-

-Side View-

I would be happy with it an inch lower in the front and about 2" in the back....just enough so that its even.

If that was my truck, I'd level the rear with the front. get some Helper bags in the rear. and if you want go an 1" in the front would look clean too. Not to low.

4/7 good luck with your lower valance in some streets of Long Beach especially if you like smash sometimes.
