Default Dyno brand and accuracey

Just wondering about the experiences of guys out there who have run their trucks on different brand dynos and what the results were.
I ran my truck on a brand "X" yesterday. The results were lower than expected. The tuner said this is the most accurate dyno, no fluff, no BS. If it were a brand "B" it would be approx 50-60 RWHP more. The latter is what I had expected, especially given my specific mods.
So anyone who has seen big # differences between dynos I would like to hear it...

I have only ran on a mustang dyno, but what it said and my power calculated by trap speed and weight are within 2%

IMO I'd say the mustang dyno is more accurate then the dyno jet. I've been on two different dyno jets & one mustang. Dyno jet show my engine only making power to 5400 rpms & the mustang dyno shows 6000 rpms..
Theirs SAE numbers & UNCORRECTED numbers.

A dyno is a tuning tool.

Depends on who's running a mustang dyno. They're just too much room for user error to cause variances. A dyno jet may seem a little inflated in numbers, but they're pretty much all going to read the same...Which is the important part since, dyno's are just tuning tools

Hey Chris,

Check out post three here for a quick summation of what I had discussed regarding dynojet "hp" vs others:

Track numbers are no better since the same truck can run a full second faster from one elevation to the next.
