We should take up a collection for whoever is first to blow up a 2012, flash it back to stock tune, and have it towed to the dealer. That will be some interesting information.

If the claim is denied because they can tell he changed tunes he can use the money to go get drunk and forget, and if the claim isn't denied he can put it toward a better converter or slicks or something.

I'll bring my laptop to work tomorrow and check the 2012 rental I have with hpt.
it would be nice to know what pcm and operating system is in it.

By the way, I drove by the dealer today and my truck is still outside with NO engine in it.

I've seen a Camaro claim denied. It was trans related but just the same.

I picked up my truck on Saturday morning.
It is quiet, the way it should be, except for the exhaust of course.
The source of the noise was a loose #3 wrist pin.
They gave me the work order and looks like a full and proper re-build.
8 pistons, rings, bearings , re-bore etc etc.
Didn't charge me a dime and paid the rental.
I'm happy and hopefully it stays quiet.
