My truck came with the factory trailer connector and brake controller, so therefore it came with the God awful West Coast mirrors too. I thought they were ugly, but livable. My wife, being a foot shorter than me, couldn't see past them at intersections. Big blind spot for her. So that was my justification to get these!

The Crimson Red Metallic isn't a common color, so I had to take them to my buddy who owns a paint booth. They came out really nice, and installation was a breeze. The Girl is happy, and wind noise has been cut down a lot, which I wasn't expecting. I'm hoping for a bit of a mpg increase too, but aren't we all? I just have a SLE interior, so they don't fold, but whatever. What do you think?

Does look much better. About 25% of our trucks at work have the tow mirrors and we never tow a damn thing. It sucks; actually makes things more difficult for us due to visibility. I definitely made sure NOT to have those on mine

 

I call them elephant ears on my truck!
