i run a magnaflow si/so 14" on my CC and i love it. but the converter unlocks while merging and it just gets nasty loud lol, so imma change the case size.

my 1-2 is 6100 my 2-3 is 6000
id advise to swap to 3:73s if your going to keep it as a DD or even a 4:10 with a 30-31" tire.

that stall should help with the low end...im not understanding. there must be TQ managment left bc mine will roast the tires and i dont have a cam. i dunno what else to say man....Truckshop is a badass tuner imo.

my truck is fun from a 15-20 punch so your 35-40 should be at the top of your 1st gear so it actually doesnt come to "life" there. its right at the end of the "life" imo. you should ride in my truck, this CC will shock you just ask Skipperdaddy

From my understanding, there's TM on the engine side of things as well as the tranny, so that's also something you may want to look into.

ok it's a 5.3 but what kind of truck? reg cab, ext cab, crew cab etc...

who did the tuning on it? you should be making more power than that.

the 3.42 are hurting you, 3.73's or 3.90's should wake it up.

your Circle D converter, is it the 11" worked over tb converter?

the tr220 uses 7.4" pushrods, that's on engines based like mine. i would think gen4 would be the same.

good questions. i know the tr220 is a proven setup but it wasnt impressed with mine either. granted mine is a crewcab and never had a pro tune done. i didnt start messing with the tuning till after i swapped to the 6.0.

maybe he needs a Truckshop adjustment like mine needed. just a tune change gave me a 15.6 vs the 16.0 the tune before had, and 16.4 stock....but who knows.

The LS7 lifters are the reason for the longer pushrods.

And on that cam I'd be shifting at at least 6600, especially since it's got the newer/better truck intake manifold. Just need to make sure you've got the injector to do it.

Do you happen to have any dyno sheets or anything from the day it was tuned? Did the measure AFR at the tailpipe or with a wideband?
