where does your HP/TQ stop pulling rpm wise? thats where you set the shift points.

i have to disagree about the 3:42s im clicking 2.0 60's and Cody is 13.8s with 3:42s

i have just about the same setup ,, i have a tsp 220 , 3.42 gear , no converter , and full bolt ons , and my truck runs pretty good ,, i still have about 25% TM and my truck is a rocket from a 30 roll , i shift at 6,500 1/2 and 6,500 2-3 and rev limiter is at 6,700 im running a 275/60/17 tire ,

my truck was on dyno ,, and before i snapped the d shaft it supposedley put down 383. but ... you need to get that sorted out ,,, also no Dod Delete i have stock lifters ..

That really astounds me that you're able to consistently run high rpm on those lifters...either we're all way too cautious, or you have GM's best built DOD lifters

You changed PRs right? I thought I remembered reading you did..

I really need to make a sig to clarify my setup but here it is in a nut shell: 08 cc 5.3/4l60e tr220-112,dod delete,LTs,ORY,CAI,3200ish 278mm,3.42s,poomaster super 44, EPS tuneGeoff Skinner at Engine Power Systems did the tune, Im not too educated when it comes to all thats involved with this so I didnt really know what to ask for as far as adjustments. I have a copy of the dyno results but need to download software from Winpep to view it.I asked TR about the longer 7.425 pr's and they said comp changed the base circle on the 220.I wonder if my slomaster is robbing some hps that I should be seeing????

If Geoff tuned it, it should be good to go. But that surging is a sign the tune is off, usually running to lean of a mixture is when it surges.
