Default Finally its done

just got my turbo sierra out today had some fun with it against a few nitrous 2011 5.0 mustangs took 2 out of 3 truck runs really good, made 615rwhp on 10psi with the LS9 cam on the L92, had good runs untill the ac belt blew but other than that ran like a bat out of hell will post videos

I'm glad you have the truck back and are getting to enjoy it. The newer trucks don't have a tensioner on the ac belt which causes problems for those that make power and turn rpm quickly. I've learned that a new belt has to be installed everytime it's removed. It's a quick and easy fix.
How do you like the ls9 cam compared to the comp vvt cam from before? Once I had some time to work on the idle last night it really smoothed out a lot.

Give those Mustang guys something to talk about!

Dude this thing is a monster runs hard for a 4door everything turned out good I'm liking the LS9 cam alil better only thing I was gonna call about was when I'm cruseing on the highway it back fires alot and drinks gas like nothing lol and when I make hard stops it dies other than that I love it

all you have to do is get a AC tensioner for the Gen III 4.8/5.3 and put 2 10x1.5 2 1/4" long bolt with the AC belt from the same year


Skipperdaddy, and Carbon GMC did that mod and make over 500 with no issues

Your backfire and dying at hard stops sounds like tune related IMO...

Glad your liking the truck though man! Pretty cool setup

It is tune related. I changed it to boost refrenced on the fpr almost at the last minute and the streets were wet due to days of rain. Nt05r's in the rain suck.
