Question finaly buying sum headers..OBX or pacesetter

the plan is ill do a custom exhaust ,i have two magnaflow mufflers with 2.5 inlets and out lets gonna do one X-pipe a long one (like y pipe from headers then spleting befor mufflers to another y pipe)
so the piping will be 2.5 into 3.5 then agine split to 2.5
keep in mind that i intend on putting eather a cam or swap the littel 5.3 to a bigger 6.0 or 6.2 motor may be a year later my ame is 400 whp and ill get there one way or the other

so i saved up some money for the headers and now i have two in mind

OBX stainless steel +y pipe with cats

and was wondering if the 6.2 obx headers will work on the 5.3...they didnt mention the primery nether the colector size
i know the 5.3 obx headers is 1.5/8" and i want 1.3/4"

http://www.amazon.com/OBX-Header-Che.../dp/B002GUGTI4

and the other headers is

pacesetter w/out y pipe + ceramic coated

http://speed-eng.com/store/pacesette...}1324{337}1279

so the second one will cost me alot less even if i bought a set of plugs and plug wires (taylor 10.4mm)

so what do u think i should buy

Both are about the same. I believe the pacesetters are 1 3/4 with 3" collectors

pacesetters are bigger, but the OBX has flanges which is where pacesetter lacks bad imo. i had a hole in my y pipe from the slip fit design. i had flanges welded on mine for cheap anyways so im happy with the way the work now

the OBX set up for the 6.2 the flange is for the 3.5" vs the other set up of 3"

if you want go and have v band clamps welded onto the LT an Y pipe or 3 bolt flanges welded on em. i hate the slip fit style now, just my .02

so the 6.2 obx is 1.3/4 with 3.5 colector? reducers will cost me somthing like 50$ both +welding them into the Y pipe...now i lean twards the pacesetters

no, the peice that connects to your stock exhaust on the back of the Y pipe is a 3.5" the only way to get the 3" connector that you need is to buy the ones for your motor. that down fall is they are a 1 5/8" vs 1 3/4".
