Fog Light HID Ballast Mounting Location
Interested to hear where and how you guys and gals mounted your fog lights HID ballasts at?
I spent a few minutes under there last night before it started raining again didn't see any overly obvious locations. I thought about mounting the brackets on the diaginal brace that runs from the outside of the frame area out towards the bumper sides above the lights. I'd perfer not to use double sided tape also if possible.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Excellent. That bracket seemed to be the easiest place without drilling to secure it to.
I'm curious to see how much water is flying around under there as I'm a bit concerned about how water resistant the DDMTuning Raptor ballasts are. They were hard enough to get in the first place, hate to have to try and get replacements right away. It's still raining like crazy here in Arkansas; I'll back crawl under later tonight and check it out.

Ive got DDM tuning HIDs, they are right down the street from me.
I had them in all winter with no problems. We had more rain than usual here in CA last winter.
Only problems is, the HIDs are hot and there is a crap load of moisture/condensation in the fog lights now.

I have had my HID balasts mounted on the 4 corners of the intercooler, there was a bolt on each side of the maggie heat exchanger so i just put them there. they have been mounted there for over 4 years now with not one problem.
There is also two more balasts that are mounted behind the bumber that you can not see for the fogs.
