Front struts???
Who's running replacement struts on there 4/6-4/7 drop on a NNBS. I have 2" drop spindle and the spring relocater and I've been noticing it's starting to bottom out more and more.... Thanks

im running the belltecs on the front of mine but i actually flipped them to the bottom of the arms (using 7/16 grade 8 bolts and nuts) and have 4 or 5 of the spacers in them to bring it back to about a 5" drop. a little more preload on the coils makes it ride a bit stiffer in the front but its nothing major to me.

pics of the struts under the a arms? ill be able to get you some tomorrow. i flipped them because with no spacers under the spring buckets, they were pretty much on the foam bump stops around the shock shaft. by flipping them to the bottom it put the struts travel in a more "useable" position.

Wow, how did you ever get it to aligned like that? I have mine set at 2" drop with a 2"drop spindle and i strugled to get it aligned. I had to put moog 1 degree offset control arm bushings and the beltech cam plates to get the right amount of adjustment out of mine. My passenger side started out at -2.7 degrees with adjustment maxed out!

kc, its not. still got about 2 degrees negative camber with the belltec camber kit. been thinkin of raising the upper a arm mounts on the frame, but im ready to go fast again... by the way its the red truck in my avatar.

Pics as requested. The bolts i used are 7/16-14 grade 8 Just a fuzz bigger than the factory 10mm bolts. if you do this DO NOT use the factory tin nuts. buy real hex nuts if you want to reuse the bolts. used flat washers on both ends with a lock washer behind the nut
if you do run on them on the bottom of the a arm you need atleast one full spacer showing under the spring bucket other wise you will have bad camber problems even with a camber kit. ask me how i know haha. (as seen in pic with 2"spindles netted a 5"ish drop)
also you will have to grind a smidge off the ear facing the front of the truck so that it sits flat on the a arm. maybe you can see how the corner pocket of the arm is rounded. i ground just enough on the top side of the ear and on the corner edge to make it sit flat.
KC, this is the best i was able to do with the camber on the front. i dont daily drive this truck so im too worried. finally got time to pull the trans out and do my stall/servo/shift kit
