Default getting tuned next wed

Finally getting my RCSB tuned by Wheatley next week. Going with a 93 tune and removing all the TM. I can't wait to see how it runs. Its a stock 5.3 with 3:73's.

good luck with the tune..... im sure you'll like it and feel the difference.

you should get the exhaust and a CAI before you tune IMO, to take advantage of the additional air coming into the engine and air being let out

Yeah I wish it would have worked out like that, I am just happy to be finally doing some sort of performance mod. I thought this one alone would be best bang for buck. I will do LT's and a CAI intake later and just retune it.

Just removing the torque management is a major upgrade on these things. First gear will seem like a whole new animal

Congrats... I'm getting tune on Tuesday on the 30th... By blackbear.... Well I'm going from superchiped to a tune hopefully I feel a difference

YOU WILL!!!! my 01 went 16.0s bone stock 1 wheel peel. LTs/OR-y went 15.7 spinning no matter how i feathered the throttle. then with a BB tune it went 15.0 on 20s still spinning out the hole.

5.3/60e
3:42s/1 wheel peel

Hmmm I wonder if my little truck will dip in the 14's with just a tune and a shorter tire? Maybe a set of Drag radials and some good weather???

i dont see why not! mine went 14.6 on DRs plus the upper mods i mentioned.
