anyone know if its possible to add this to a truck that did not come equipped with it? this would be the garage door programable buttons that go in the upper lighting pannel (nnbs) i know on my brothers titan they are all built in to the upper pannel (reciever/transmitter and button) all one peice just has a power plug from the harness.

anyone done this or thought about doing it?

I added a homelink console to my 08 silverado wt. Very easy and i believe it just plugged right in and worked. Just unplug your old console and plug in the new one, your connector already has all of the power feed wires.

I bought mine on ebay new.

Item # 370343165179

It has some extra buttons for sunroof but they are just unused. Also you'll have to transfer over the passenger airbag display thing.

I also think you can order the homelink console without the sunroof buttons.

Definitely adding to my mod list.

Anyone have a part number for the cashmere homelink assembly - minus the sunroof buttons?

I added the Homelink overhead to my console. It plugged right into the existing harness and works great. If you want the backlighting to come on when your exterior lamps are on, you'll need to run a new wire for that.
