Okay so pull pan, take that relief valve out and put a plug in?

So the LS3 doesn't have it?

All the gen iv pans have that relief in there

Yep. Pretty simple work. Be sure to seal the oil pan gasket crimp points with a dab of RTV. Don't get crazy with it, just a small bead
