got bored blacked out the denali

had a slow weekend..so i figured id play around with some plasti dip, kinda cool stuff so i did my wheels and anything else that was chrome, handles, emblems etc

thanks guys..im gonna leave it for alil while for sure i like it so far. the wheels were really easy. but the trim and emblems were alil tricky i need to redo them. the only hard part about the plasti dip is trying to do small stuff like that and then removing the tape with out pealing it all off. im thinking about doing the grill so it matchs..instead of the black chrome that it is now... and maybe tinting my tails and maybeee headlights not sure how far i wanna take it

The only thing that really sticks out is the yellow parking light lenses. There's a thread somewhere on here about taking the light unit apart and sawing out the yellow plastic lenses, then just using amber bulbs - for next time you get bored ....

you must have been reading my mind..i was just thinking the same thing... i did that to my silverado ss it was pretty simple just had to put them in the oven and heat them up, and pull them appart and you could then break off the amber reflector... im sure its more of a process for this one... butttt now im gonna have to find that wright up and give it a shot
