its the same as active handling on vettes, thats the way that works on C6's (05 and up)

of course my sub has every damn option but no stabilitrak

this is a camera phone....both of us morons forgot cameras....my buddy was pissed because his wive's range rover couldn't turn off the stabilitrak type stuff, so it sucked nuts for donuts.

You press and hold it first traction control will go off then the autotrak will go off. You will know this is happening caise on your DIC.

Check you should have it. But when you put it in 4wd it will turn stabilitrak off or traction control. I can't rember. I would have guessed you would have it.

put it in 4lo and they both turn off..
when i use 4hi, you still have to turn in off manually, it basically sucks when in the mud

wasn't available on 07 2500 subs, not sure if that worked out to 2500 and heavier pickups as well.

of course now in 08 you get stabilitrak and a 6 speed auto instead of the 4l80...

thanks GM for making me happy for buying a first year of a model run .....I always was happier buying end of a body style

in a vette with wheel spin the traction control will pull back throttle on its own with the drive by wire crap. I'd assume with a truck if you spin the same thing could/would happen. obviously with more weight the odds are less likely, but the sub was able to pull a smoke show on the stockers to the tune of a 3.1 60 ft in 2wd
