oooook.... so ive been searching and searching and i cannot find the thread with a person who has a NNBS GMC truck and has HID reverse lights. the truck is a pewter color i believe when showing pictures in the thread... im looking for the thread/write up that he did. i just bought a TBSS and will be going REAL DARK on the windows along with tinting the tails, so im looking to get as much light from the back up lights as possible.

any info or link to the thread would be GREATLY helpful

 

i believe the person said they use an H4 buld/kit, but not 100% sure

 

HIDs or LEDs? ive havent heard or seen HIDs on the reverse

Yeah that's my thread on my old 09 GMC... I used h13s not too sure tho what bulb will work on a tbss

Yes sir my 2011 has them as well. Super easy to do and works great. I had them on my 09 for awhile with 0 problems so decided to do the same mod to my new truck.

Yeah I think a few other guys on here have done the HID reverse mod as well.

 

What brand did you use, and how long did they last? Mostly a curiosity question, my truck doesn't have reverse lights.
