Default Have gas.........

No- I don't need a Gas- X, thanks. I mentioned earlier that the truck wasn't feeling quite like itself; it just didn't run that smooth and didn't have that rock solid power delivery that Mom's Eksy has. So I decided to try some Chevron and whaddya know- it's as if I tuned the truck(which I haven't yet). Almost like a totally different animal! I get about 1.5MPG better, too all over- so I guess the extra few cents a gallon is worth it...........

I refuse to run anything but chevron 93. Ever since day one its been chevron with techron lol. Even if it is just a pint of techron per 10k gallons.

Yeah- i'm a believer now. But I'm still gonna compare and check tunes with Mom's Esky because she runs exclusively that paint thinner they call gasoline from Sams Club...........

Lucky here in Los Angeles.. The highest is 91 at the pump... I like using chevron.. Shell.. 76... Nice to know you notice the difference.. Some people would rather go the cheap route ...

Shell and Chevron are both "top tier" fuels. You will notice a difference, and your fuel system will stay cleaner.

I'm sold! I think even the regular 88 octane might be liveable. My '96 Impala SS there's definately a difference; I never have and never will run anything other than Chevron with the Lady........

Check supplier websites for ethanol content. Here in Canada Shell and Ultramar are the only companies that dont add any ethanol to their premium fuels. Even though its only 91 octane a lot of the boost crowd prefers it over the 94 octane with 10% eth.

Down in the US I dont know how much eth is in the regular gas but here its "up to 10%" so that'll mess up your power levels as well.

Plus the 6.2L are 10.25:1 compression so they REALLY appreciate the better fuel
