Buy the hood. Use a 10mm to remove your hood (don't forget to unbolt the ground strap) have friend help lift. Install new hood. Snug bolts. Align to your liking. Tighten bolts. Shut hood. Drive away

Use duct tape though...***** wayy better than bolts

Thats about the just of the hood swap. Now as for the bumper swap that'd take a little more

I believe you need the grille as well?
I could be wrong though.

thanks guys! I made an offer on the hood and hopefully it works out. I like the silverado HD hood better but for the sake of a few hundred bucks and some bolts, this is a beautiful upgrade! wish me luck

no you don't need the grille however if you run it with that "lip" or the top of the hd grille it'll be noticeable over your old grille.
when I finally find one I plan to remove that strip and fill the holes for a smooth look

Good to know. Going to get the hood tonight and will probably mock it up next weekend. It needs to be painted so I will have the chance to make it fit well. Pretty excited!

Hey cowtown, I'm in Edmonton. Damn oilers losing last night...

Got the hood home and it is brand new...thought it was from an 11. will have to check the part number as it was advertised as an 11 hood. All initial measurements look good. Now I just need a second set of hands to mock it up to ensure it fits before paint.
