Lol. I wish it was the silvy...like that one a lot better. it has the duramax badges. Not 100% sure what I am going to do but have a few ideas. Definitely not leaving the duramax badge like it is.

I got the hood sanded down. Painting to come...

 

does that Sierra HD hood work on SIlverado's? I like that cowl over the normal hood and vent setup on the HD Silverado

 

Can you really tell the difference between the 1500 hood and hd hood?

 

to the best of my knowledge, the hoods are not interchangeable GMC to Chev-different lights and grill. Chev has an HD hood with 2 scoups/vents but I dont believe that is direct fit to the 1500 either. Personally, the Chev HD hood looks way better than the GMC.

I think so. enough to make it worth the effort and $$. there are pics on page 2 for you to decide yourself though
I am not so sure many people will spot the difference but that is the way I want it.

the gmc is noticeable if you look but maybe not at a quick glance but the chev its like hot damn
