the article states that the 6.2 with the truck intake manifold produced more power with the cam than the ls3 intake

I think that makes sense. Even though the truck intakes have a slightly smaller TB (87mm vs. 90mm) than the LS3 manifold, they have more space under the truck hood to make better radiused turns, longer runners etc. On MAST's website, their stock cammed L92's are listed at 440HP with the LS3 manifold and 450HP with the Truck Intake. I'm not sure if that works with really wild cams though, because they tend to like shorter runners on the intake for high RPM power.

VERY NICE iam a GM TECH and have a 2011 gmc sierra ex cab texas edition with the lmg 5.3 i just got the comp xfi 271 phr14 this cam has to be ground on a 189 cam core and when you order it you have to let them know this . if you use the 156 core you lose your lowend TQ DIFFRANCE IN THE CORES ARE 156 IS 13 DEG RETARDED. GM HAD COME UP WITH A NEW PHASER . JUST WANTED ANYONE WHO DIDNT KNOW THAT TO HAVE THE INFO . DONT MID THE WAY I TYPE I KNOW ITS BAD LOL
