I personally did this test. Saw same results with and with out a blower. What we saw is the power stays the same past 4500 but downlow it makes more power. So yes the 1-7/8 are "better" these are AWD DENALI trucks. Tests were done same day within hours of each other for most realistic results.

They were better for your tuck. I have seen different dynos with different results between 1.75 and 1.875. My buddy has a 6.2 sierra and LOST hp and tq with the 1.875 when he switched from 1.75. When he had it tuned, he said it still wasn't as fast. Some of the motors respond differently for apparent reasons. No starting a pissing contest btw.
