Heres yall something to compare to!! I had an 01 ss that was built to 9:1 compression and ran agostino heads and 15lbs of boost through a procharger D1. Had 1/3/4 pacesetters and dynoed 603rwhp and 595rwtrq. Sold car to buddy and he replaced headers with kooks 1/7/8 and retuned and redynoed and made 618rwhp and 610 rwtrq. Thats with boost, ported heads, and a camshaft! Through a 12bolt and an M6. Man I miss my car!!! But I love my truck!

for a 15/15 gain with all those mods................ Pacesetters it is!!!

Just plain wasteful to spend 3x's the money on ARH/Kooks if they don't offer a bigger gain.

With the $600 you saved you can get gears and a pulley or a couple hookers....err i mean nevermind.

I like my Kooks.

I just like the quality of stainless and having cats. And never having to worry about coatings failing. When I add performance parts, I'd rather stick with parts that will be as trouble-free as possible. Not having to spend my weekend chasing a welder or massaging things to fit is worth it to me. My time is more valuable than that....

Slip fit is terrible. Id recommend at least getting flanges welded on the collectors and y pipe.

To be fair I know of people down here in Texas that are running the original pacesetters from 04 when they first came out. Up north I'm sure it'd be a different story but down here I just can't see spending that kind of dough if you don't have to have cats. Even then you can get a set spliced in for less than 300.
