well come monday im going to go check some 6.0s out at a local salvage yard and was wondering what heads come on the 07+ 6.0s? dont want to get ripped off with something thats not a 6.0..any help is greatly aprecciated

It'll have 6.0 stamped on the block. Well, it's not stamped, it's raised. should be right below one of the heads... I think it may be the passenger side.

Heads should show casting number 823 or 5364.

hopefully lol imma order a 3600 circle d and custom grind cam this week if i do get the 6.0

Try and find a vortech max or a L76 6.0 they have the L92 heads.

Silverados/Sierras with the Vortech Max 6.0. The G8 GT also had the L76 6.0.

To help answer your question a 6.0 usually has 317 stamped on the heads.

5.3's have 706 or 823 i believe on the head.
