The 4.5 Dmax was put on hold before Wagoner resigned (or was fired).

$$$ the reg cab folks are the low priced and low profit trucks, so they will slowly funnel the trannies in with the higher models first and use up the last of the 4 speeds before we see a 6 speed in there...

GM put out their 2010 info today but its just a small booklet that does not spell out much specific (ordering guides are not out yet). Some new colors for the trucks though (both silvy and sierra get same color selection).

Guess GM still doesn't want my money. No more stealth blue color and no more ext-cab 5.7' bed. Not very happy right now.

I saw the missing ext cab model too (because I was thinking maybe that might be my next one), but you got me with stealth blue. I don't recall seeing it on the 07 up style at all. You don't mean stealth gray which is a bluish color??

Also don't forget this is a very early release, missing model could be a typo.

why would you want the ext cab with the small bed? i think that would look goofy. i thought they only offered that on the crew cabs?

Oops, my mistake on the stealth gray...doh! It looks blue, not gray! Wish they would throw in a green, orange or light tan. A light blue would be cool.

My reasons for the ext-cab small bed:

1. Because GM will never put a 6.0/6.2 in a reg-cab shortbed.
2. A ext-cab 6.5' bed or CCSB won't fit in my garage with my lawnmower inside.
3. The GMT900 6.5' bed looks like a long bed to me for some reason. I don't know why but they just look longer than they really are.
4. Bed length isn't that big a deal to me, I have utility trailers for the long stuff.
5 I want something different than the million other trucks out on the road.

Nothing goofy about that...in fact that is one sharp looking truck, the proportions are perfect.

My reasons for considering one were the same as Neil 6.0 (more or less). I have seen them in person, they look good.
