Default help with driveshaft measurements

Hey fellas, Im without my truck for several more weeks (playing Army). I am trying to get my ducks in a row so when I come home we can jump on the dyno for tuning.

That being said, Does anyone have these #'s or would a few of you guys mind measuring your driveshafts IAW DSS measurement protocol? I know this is a pain...

I need the measurement for a 6.2L NNBS CC Z71/4wd rear DS.

Wanting to get the DSS one ordered up. This is long overdue for my truck

Thanks!!!

If you get the measurements from HAMMER throw them up on here, I'm interested as well.

Yup 67.5" if you have 4x4 Z71 with 14bolt rear and 1350 joints like mine. I am also ordering a Driveshaft Specialties D-shaft that's gunna be 5" aluminum .125 wall. I'm getting mine an 1" longer tho due to the 4.5" lift on my truck!

Are they balanced to a high rate of speed?

Nobody can balance a shaft higher than Dennys Driveshaft (10,000rpm shaft speed) but the longest they can make is 65" long :-[

Driveshaft specialties has the next best thing tho with .125wall thickness and 5" diameter combined with 67.5" moves the "critical speed" well up into the 130mph range or more! But as far as balancing it I believe 3,500 shaft rpm is what they do.

That 67.5" is for a 6.2l 6l80 4x4 CC right? I believe the 6.2l only came with the 6l80 but now im questioning myself.
