Default How do you like your NNBS?

Finally got the wife a new vehicle now its my turn

I was really set on a cc denali nbs, but after looking at prices closer a nnbs denali would only be 6-8k more and I like the 6.2 and 6l80e idea.

Ive looked the new trucks all over and like the interior a lot better and the exterior is marginally better in looks imo, just wondering how people who have had them for a while are liking them?

It will probably be tax return time before I decide to make a move so I can pay cash for it but a good deal may come by and I want to be able to jump if need be but make an informed decision at the same time.

Love mine. Upgraded from a 2001 silverado. If I was buying today, I'd order a 6.2 and 6 speed without hesitation.

I couldn't be more happy with my new truck. Interior is great, rides great and just overall a pleasure to drive. Only thing I wish I would have changed was to buy a white truck, not a dark colored one

I've already been looking at 07-09 6.2 cc denalis myself. I just don't want to take on another payment.

the only thing I don't like about mine is the more complicated computer and the seats. If you get leather than you wont have the seat problem. If you dont tune you wont have the ecm problem.

I wish i woulda waited to buy mine. I pulled the trigger and bought my 08 Sierra on December of 07. TX edition 5.3L. I should have waited for the 6.2L with 4 wheel disc breaks. The front disc, rear drum set up sucks.

Oh, and i would get it in white. Love the way my black truck looks after a nice wash/wax. Too bad it only lasts a day!

Even though I've only had mine for a month, It is my fourth GM truck (6th GM Vehicle). I did MONTHS worth of research before jumping into mine. I was set on the 6.0 V-Max until they started putting the 6 Speed with the 6.2L. That changed my thinking very quick. When GM took away the 6.0 and put in the 6.2, they changed the available options and initially you could ONLY get the 6.2 with 17" Wheels and the Max Trailering Package..... I held out until they started offering the 6.2 with the Sport Handling Suspension Package with 20" Chrome Clad Wheels and as an added bonus, there is still a tranny cooler.

I don't like the lack of some DIC options. On my 04 Silverado, I was able to monitor instant fuel mileage and had more than just one average mileage and trip meters. The 2010 only has one trip meter and only the average fuel economy monitors.

If I had to do it over........ I would have gotten the same truck that I have.

i have an 08 GMC CCSB, 5.3/60e 3:42s/G80. came with 20s, turn signals and power folding mirrors. if i was to do it all over again, id buy the 4.8L bc i KNEW i was going to upgrade, and void the warrenty anyways.
i swapped in a cammed, milled head 6.2, and swapped in a 3200 converter with 4:10s, and a Tru-Trac, i couldnt be happier.

If Im going to do this it will be a Denali period, I want the 6.2 and 6l80e, I dont really feel like swapping right off that bat along with awd straight from the factory. Im lazy these days and dont feel like swapping a bunch of drivetrain stuff. To me the Denali is worth the extra couple grad over a loaded slt since I only like the look of the gmcs.

40k truck vs my built 25k truck you can have that note. i like my 385 a month, plus having mod money whenever i want is nice
i love the look of the Denali, just not the price tag along with it.
