lmao! i wish i would have bought an 07 too vs my 08 brand new, but ive always owned older trucks so i wanted BRAND NEW. ill never buy brand new again.

congrats on the baby boy, i understand where your coming from with that. i dont have kids, but hope to one day be lucky enough to have a son or daughter whatever i get lol

but honestly, if the cash is there and you want a brand new truck buy it, but if i had to do it over again, i would have kept my 01 and saved till i could pay cash for it, or bought a slightly modded one and did what i wanted with it. all in all, im extremely happy with my purchase and id do it a little different if i had to

If I was to get another dmax it would be atleast an 06 or newer, Id probably get an LMM but a long bed this time. Im torn between getting another dmax or getting a denali. I really have no use for a dmax anymore since my dad moved about an hour down the road and I can borrow his F350 whenever I want and Im selling my fifth wheel. Its hard to justify a truck like that when I have no use for it other than the cool factor. I miss having a semi fast vehicle.

A denali with an S400 or t76 would be a high 11 second truck and get 20+mpg on the highway all while being stock mannered...

Ive yet to hear anyone who owns a leather interior NNBS complain about the interior, I like the looks of the black Denalis and could be fun with the proper mods.

My first vehicle ever was brand new and was a POS(2002 S10), I had so many problems with that damn truck and I swore Id never buy brand new again. I was 16, had a brand new truck and it was at the dealer all the time and they wouldnt give me a rental because I wasnt 25, talk about getting the shaft

I dont have the drive in me to want a brand new pickup, Im perfectly fine with a well used, great condition used truck. While I could go out and buy a brand new Denali its not exactly a wise decision especially since I dont really care whether its new or used. id rather have that extra money for mods and having money to travel and have fun on. Id resent having a brand enw truck but no money to go do anything. My wife is quiting work once our son is born so it will all be on me, so Im being a bit more cautious with my money these days.

If anyone sees a good deal on a black awd denali with black interior let me know, Id prefer one with navigation, rear dvd and sunroof but if its a good enough deal...

I drove a nnbs duramax it was the widest truck I have ever driven. I really had to try hard to stay out of the oncoming traffic. Maybe it was just me but they seem too wide.

yeah, it must have been you.... I test drove a brand new one back in 08 and it was great. Good road manners, ride quality, acceleration (considering its size/weight). I had no problems moving it around. Turning radius isnt good, but thats pretty true with all Trucks. My 98 Yukon turns on a dime!

Congrats on your son. mine will be born in sept also.

Hell, you guys have the 300-400 payments. I had a 782$ payment on my truck when I bought it in 07. Try that out. lol
If I were to do it over again, I'd buy a gmc ( love the look of them), and get the 6.0 vmax for my s/c. Disc brakes all the way around, and 4l80.

I bought my 06 loaded out ccsb 4wd dmax for 26OTD in Jan 08, that truck stickered for 46K. The loaded out Denalis Im looking at sticker for 45K and Ive found quite a few 07s for 24-26K asking price so I know I can get them a couple grand cheaper OTD.

Ive already built my fair share of hot rods, Im not big on working on them anymore, I want to get in and drive. Ive got too much else on my plate and with my son being born in September that will only get worse. Id rather pick up a Denali thats a couple years old with 50K on it for the price of a brand new 2wd cloth seated cc. Thats just me, to each their own, I need people like you guys out there to lose a bunch of money on their purchase so I can get a good deal. Im too poor to pay for my rich blood new, so used it is for me

I love mine except for the crap turning radias and I didnt wait a few more months for the 6.2. I dont like the 6speed trans though. I got one in my wifes tahoe and it blows./ Searches around for the right gear too much.
