Im looking at a 2007.5 LTZ VIN#2GCEC190571713819

I havent been able to go look at it in person, can someone tell me if it has the 4l60 or 6l80 trans?

 

i dont think the 6 speed was available til 09 with the 1500

Yup if you have the 5.3 its the 4 speed.

Hell just drive it and count... but you couldnt get the 6 speed with the 5.3 until 09 as mentioned above and even then it was only some of them. It wasn't until 2010 I believe that they all had 6 speeds.

 

Easy... Look on the shift handle and the odometer. If it has 321 its a 4 speed.

 

2010 4.8's could have a 4spd also

 

on my 2012 i put it in low and it shows 6speeds.
