Eating crow twice in one thread here. Thats a first... I would have swore prior to searching it out that in 01 halfway through the year was when they did the switch on the 6.0L along with the different crank etc. Anyways for the record niff is absolutely right so forget what I said about 6.0L swap thats senseless to have to swap out the reluctor

turbo...

the 99-01 is a "long crank" *needs a spacer*
02+ is the short crank that doesnt need a spacer.

no man thats what we're here for. information is needed an all the information is needed

I know this is for the dod delete parts... But his truck doesnt have dod does it?

Also, it looks like the stock tensioner is better than the ls2 wedge.. One side with the ls2 vs 2 sides on the stock trucks with dod.. So why does it matter? Or does it? Always wondered.

im not sure if his has DOD i wanna see his valley cover and thatll clear it up.

the "stock tensioner" isnt a good design. the "plastic tensioner" breaks on the stock peice. the LS2 wedge style tensioner is a hard plastic and doesnt have anything that can break off of it.
so why do you say the stock tensioner is better?

I didnt know if it was or not. I just was saying from looking at it it seemed like two sided was better than one.. But if it is prone to breaking it doesnt matter.
